Continuous Everything
PROFES 2024

International Workshop of Continuous EveryThing

Call for papers

Nearly all products and services depend on software either as a component or software is critical for design, manufacturing, supply chain management, logistics, and back office functions. Therefore, improving software delivery enables companies to gain an edge in the market. Consequently, there is a pull from the industry for cutting-edge practices and support to sustain continuous improvements in software delivery.

In this workshop, we seek to bring together researchers aiming to break new ground in the area of continuous software engineering (CSE) and welcome submissions concerning all aspects of rapid and continuous software delivery, including but not limited to:

  • Industrial experience reports concerning CSE adoption efforts.
  • Strategies for organizational transformation towards continuous software delivery.
  • Continuous product development, work coordination, and scoping.
  • Data-driven continuous process and product improvement.
  • Continuous regulatory compliance.
  • Continuous collection and analysis of customer feedback.
  • Feedback loops and mechanisms to facilitate engineering decision support.
  • Design and implementation of continuous engineering pipelines.
  • Coordination and synchronization of continuous engineering.
  • Practices and models for improving software delivery performance.
  • Interfaces between fast-paced, digital (e.g. software, data and AI) and non-continuous technologies (e.g. electronics, mechanics ) and processes (e.g. regulation heavy, plan driven)

Submission format

We invite submissions of full papers, max. 12 pages including references, related to all the topics of interest of the workshop.

Submitted papers must conform to the Springer LNCS author guidelines. All papers must be submitted in PDF format according to the Submission Procedure. The submission Web page for all contributions in PROFES 2024 is: https://easychair.org/my/conference?conf=profes2024

Papers will be selected based on originality, quality, soundness, and relevance. All contributions must be original, not published, accepted, or submitted for publication elsewhere.
